This sentence is being quoted by vivi....
The December in 2007, I just joined KPMG for like 3 months plus?
D&D was held on 27th December 2007. After D&D, we went off for a drink. There were 5 of us. We went to Chjimes for a drink while zz can watch his favourite MU match at the same time.
A year later, the D&D was cancelled due to economy downturn.
One more year later, the D&D resume. It was held on 5th December 2009 this time round.
After the D&D, we still went for a drink at Chjimes. This time round, there were more people. There were 4 more people on top of those who went two years ago.
For some reasons, we took the same route to Chjimes for the both years. While walking, I told vivi. Do you remember we took the same route two years ago?
She replied: "Really? Don't really remember.."
and she said this sentence: "景物虽在,人事已非"
For those who don't understand, it means despite the secenary and the buildings being the same, the others all have changed.. Be it the person, the things...
The feelings we had two years ago is totally different from what we are feeling two years later.
How things have changed.
I am very sure two years ago, I havent think of the feelings that I have right now.
How has audit changed my life.
I think the only good thing about audit is it let me meet him.... and also my few other fellow peers...

Movies
This blog was meant for a few weeks ago.....
-Time traveler's wife-
Watched time traveler's wife today after work with him
It is a very nice romance. It is about a guy who knows how to travel through time. He managed to travel back time to see his wife which she was young and also to travel to the future to see his future child. He is able to see how he died as well.
Shant reveal much about the movie in case u guys havent watched it yet. But it is a very nice movie.
Though might be a typical romance, but definitely worth watching.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-I love you beth cooper-
I have watched I love you beth cooper yesterday. I think it is not worth watching. Pretty dissappointing actually because afew mentioned it was quite a nice movie. Furthermore, GV gave it a 4 star. Wondering what is the review based on
Maybe if I were like 5 years younger, I might appreciate it. Cos it is like those teenage love story, getting quite lame at some point in time during the show.
It is directed by Chris Columbus. He is the director of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Frankly speaking, I am very disappointed with that movie as well. I was very excited about that show because that book was the best book out of the Harry Potter's story that I read. Well... When the movie was screened, it was totally different from the story book. What a letdown.
Okie.. Maybe I should condemn that director instead.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are some movies though typical but nice. Movie like The Proposal.
It is really a typical romance. Even though typical, it is sweet and romantic.
Or maybe I am too old to appreciate teenage love story. Haha.. is that a sign? hmmm.... maybe...
Anyway, back to The Proposal. Like I mentioned, it is a typical romance. Typically, the female boss (Sandra Bullock) proposed a plan to her secretary (Ryan Reynolds). The plan is to get married so as to prevent her from getting repatriate to Canada, which will resulted in her lossing her job.
Therefore, she "proposed" to her secretary and they went on a short holiday in Sitka in Alaska, the hometown of his secretary. Many things happened and they gradually fall in love with each other.
Please watch the movie for more details.
Like I have said, it is a typical love story but worth worthing.

Relationship...
Recently, another broken relationship happened around me again.
I don't really know the male and female lead. saw them and talked to them several times but not really very close.
They were together for about 2 to 3 years. From what I heard, it was the guy who initiated the break-up.
His reason was that he don't wish to restrict himself to one lady only and it is too early to restrict himself to one lady only. I think that is a very selfish thought. If that is the case, why be together in the first place? Is the lady not good enough for you? Hai..
In the past, I used to think that if you are able to be together for a long period, then most likely you will get married. I am wondering why is it not possible that you will be able to get married if you are able to be together for a long period. Am I be shallow to say that? Maybe..
Maybe a relationship is not about the number of months or years. It is the quality of time you spent with that person... Even though you spent years together and it was spent quarreling, then I don't think those were quality time spent.
Hai.. nvm la... none of my business anyway. Just wanna say out my thoughts... nitey nitey...
my 2 weeks leave ending in 1 more day...=(

A happy normal day
today i went to work as usual....
when he msged me, i replied as usual....
he sent me a msg as follows...
18th August 2009 11:15
"at pk alr ahx? You wil be going back office later? If got then I leave my tie there you bring back for me… ok ok?"
I was in office clearing artivision stuff. I planned to go PK before lunch because freddie is there. Wanna clear things with him. He will be back in office after lunch. But I think when he is back, he wouldn't be free to entertain me already. He will be busy with his AEH stuff.
Back to the message, I didn't really think much when I saw that message. I was thinking it was just another way of bullying me. Ha.. For your info, he likes to bully me alot.
Met him and jj (my another colleaque) for lunch. Lunch was normal for us.
During lunch, he kept insisting me to put his two ties, which I placed in my locker, in his locker straight after lunch. Even though I just don't understand why, I still did what he told me to...
I opened up the locker
When I went to the locker.. I saw a gold paper bag inside.. Alot of thoughts went through my mind.. I kept thinking who was the one
When I went to the locker after lunch, I saw a gold paper bag in my locker. I was wondering what was that. Who put it inside. I took it out and saw that it is a citigem paper bag..
I don't dare to think alot. Afraid that I might b dissappointed.. I slowly opened the paper bag and saw what's inside... It was another package! Haha.. =p.. I opened up the packaging n saw a box.. Inside the box
I took out the paper bag and I saw Citigems on that paper bag and straight away, I know it was from him. My tears just flow down uncontrollably and it just won't stop. I was very very very touched.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have told him I wanted a necklace for my bday present. I just felt that it is very sweet to be wearing the necklace everyday. haha... okie.. I think that is very childish or stupid of me to think that way. But then I still think it is very sweet.. =)
We went to see a few jewellery stores. Citigems was one of them. It has a necklace which is very nice but very expensive. It is about 300 plus. So we concluded that it was too expensive and decided not to spend the money on that and to save the money to buy flat instead. I managed to convince myself and not think about that until that day..

out of work = into life
saw this nick from one of my seniors...
I think this is really true for auditors, is it?
or is it most of the jobs, this sentence will stand?
I think actually it is a choice ultimately.
Work = money = better standard of living
so you need to make a choice.
If you want a better standard of living, you work like hell.
If you think spending quality time with your family members, you work less and maybe a more normal standard of living.
I think my parents chose the former.
They slogged so as to provide a better living for their children. They only have two days of rest per year. Well... Because of that, they didnt get to spend time with their children. They always missed my Meet the parents session. It was always subsituted by my aunt.
I used to think that it is important to spend time with your children. I even had a dream to become housewife. To look after my children and spend time with them.
Now, I have started working. I think I am working like my parents. I seldom see them and seldom talk to them. Most of my time was spent working. Sometimes it was spent with him.
Sometimes I felt like changing jobs. But I wanted to provide more for my parents. So that they can lead a better life in future.
So am I stepping in their footsteps?
I think I can't reach a conclusion yet.
P.S. But I think auditors work doubly as hard as those of the same pay. mmm....Think the only good side is the pay rise is very fast...

down the bed
I think being clumsy is just my nature.
I hit onto everything that's along my way. Even though sometimes that thing is way way far away from me.
It becomes more evident after I'm beside him.
I concluded that's because no matter what I hit onto, he will always notice it!
ha!
I think it is starting to bug him that I'm such a clumsy person... but what to do... you have to accept it, my boy..=p...
Sometimes I wonder why wasn't it evident before I was with him.... how come??? it wasn't that obvious then mei? Now I conclude... Love is blind... haha...
Anyway, let me recall a recent showdown of Mr Calm versus Ms Clumsy........
I was on the bed sleeping. He was playing his game.
Well.... I started rolling, trying to find a suitable position...
Ha.. I think I enjoyed rolling on the bed so much so that I forgot I was on the edge already.
mmmm.. wait! or was I dreaming?? I think I am dreaming. I can't be that clumsy.
Anyway, I was on the bed one second ago and ..........................
I was falling down the bed the next second...
After that second, my upper body was on the floor, with my lower body on the bed and in that position, I looked up at him.
I think my bf is too engross in his game alr...
He just simply grabbed my arm and pulled me up onto the bed and continued his stupid game....nagging at me while playing his stupid game...
"how come like that also can fall down?!"
So.... I have concluded that his game is more important than me... or maybe he is used to my clumsiness...
but then guess what?????
his nagging grew by maybe a thousand times after that fall.... okie.. maybe not a thousand times... but it's a million times...

Kuching - Sarawak
I nv tot that sarawak is located not in Malaysia until this year..
My friends have told me sarawak is in east malaysia... i told okie... the east side of malaysia... mmm... nearby near KL or dunno where... ...
It was this year that i realised Sarawak and Sabah are located in another part of Malaysia...
Both of them formed part of the Borneo Island...
Felt that I seems a bit ignorant when I asked questions abt Kuching history and Kuching geography....
mmm... went to kuching with him for approximately 2 weeks. was very excited but at the same time nervous.
alot of questions run through my head when the date to kuching is nearing..
thinking....
will his family members like me? will they think that im pampered? will they think that we are not suitable? and alot of stuff la....
DAYS IN KUCHING
We reached the airport at night.. his mother and cousin picked us up...
first impression of his mother is that she is quite friendly...
after dunno how many minutes of drive, i reached his house....
met his grandmother....
his grandmother reminds me of my late ah ma... I think the size are similar.. age are quite near to each other.. my ah ma was 78 and his grandmother is early 80s.. and the elders of that generation wear similar clothings as well. I miss my ah ma very much....
when we were, it happened to be kuching's sch holiday.. so his mum is free as well (she is a sch teacher).. she drove me ard when i was there... he followed along as well...
normally we are out sightseeing in the day and we will be back by evening so that we can have dinner at home...
his grandmother prepared the dinner... i love her cooking... only managed to learn from her one dish... mmm... but then i think he knows it better than me...
when we are free, we played nitendo wii which he bought just 2 days before we leave singapore..
conquering Resident Evil was the main activity when we were at home... there will always be one player.. and 2 audiences (me and his younger cousin) adding on to the sound effect..
his house is very lively at night when his relatives will come over for dinner, watch tv and chit chat...
hah.... alot or maybe all commented that he has grown fatter...=p... sometimes im wondering he grew fatter because of me or i grew fatter because of him....
went to Samatan Beach for the weekend. It was a long drive from Kuching. On the way, they dropped by Sirikin. It is like a market for the locals but set up by Indonesian.
Then we went to Fairy Cave. It was a long climb into windy and cool cave. When we were at the entrance of the cave, cold cave kept rushing out.. A great contrast between the temperature at outside and inside. It was dark inside but we managed to spot a few bats hanging upside and resting for the day.
There are several other caves in Kuching. We dropped by Wing Cave as well..
When we finally reached Sematan Beach, it is already 2pm plus. The weather was even hotter at the beach.. I don't even feel like going out. Just feel like sleeping inside the chalet for the day. Haha..
Anyway, we went cycling after some time nua-ing in the chalet..
There is no cycling track at the beach. So we had to cycle out along the road. I think partly because we are bringing a kid with us, we need to stop whenever vehicles drove past us. . .
The beach is the next stop after cycling! After some splashing water and relaxing in the sea, he decided to rent a kayak..
haha.. so they took turns to kayak. and guess what? hah.. we noted a trend. No matter who edwin kayak with, the kayak will capsize. haha..tested and proven and the result is 100% of the sample size. =p... mmmm... wonder why will that happen... ha...
anyway, the sunset was fantastic.. i missed the sunrise though. hah.. cos we were too lazy to wake up. i think only edwin, me and his cousin were sleeping, the others all managed to wake up and catch the sunrise... I think the sunrise should be nice.. since the sunset was so nice...
mm... the next week was spent traveling around kuching again...
went to the cultural village and learn more abt the history of kuching...
went to the musuem to see the top 10 museum in Asia... it was really not bad... different theme in different buildings...
went around to eat...
other than that, it will be spent in the house playing resident evil... =p... or maybe watching him play resident evil..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Memories in kuching
his mother and grandma
us! =)
the malay wedding couples...
fishing village and that river is the sarawak river...
any idea wat are these "houses" for?
to "house" their motorbikes when they cross the river.....
with his mother...=)
on the way to the fishing village
his mum driving in action
kuching's parliament house...
went to his mother's school for a while... his mother is a teacher..=)
first stop before sematan.... sirikin!
just like a flea market isnt it???
a filial child in action...
luckily we are not part of the car queue...
on our way up to the fairy cave
at the entrance of the fairy cave
going into the fairy cave!
inside the fairy cave 1
inside the fairy cave 2
inside the fairy cave 3
inside the fairy cave 4
next cave! the wind cave!! but we didnt go in ahx.. just outside..
those who went... =)
haha... sleeping like nobody's biz...along 1 hour ride...
reached alr!!! =)
the chalet...
upstairs...
outside
the chalet! nice right!
the sunrise that i nv catch... his little cousin took it for us..
in kuching airport to KL...
hah.. when we are in KL, the sight that we shouldnt miss is the KL twin tower!
archer in action
hah... i am an archer too o course! =p
his brother's the two little puppies... livia and popeye...one of our entertainment when we were in KL
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I enjoyed myself very much when i was in malaysia.. his family members are very warm and friendly... really like them alot and hope they like me too..=P... Actually i even miss them when im back in Singapore...

stress
i think im quite stress today...
cos tml i will be going through my e-dialouge with my performance manager = whether i will be able to get promoted to senior level..
due to the financial economic crisis or maybe other reasons, i think the no of ppl promoting esp to seniors will be more difficult... i think that means u need to perform above average and ur technical skills must be quite good in order to be promoted...
now im thinking....
im thinking if he were to ask me the following questions, how am i going to answer:
do u think u have the ability to become a senior?
i felt that maybe i dun have.. felt that i will be nervous when im stress and im stress easily... and my multi-tasking skills is not very good... and i think my technical skills are normal only... haix.. cham ahx....
then im thinking.... if he were to give me good news... i think u will be able to promote to senior.. however, u must brush up on ur techical skills...
now im wondering whether i will be able to stay calm and manage the team... haix.... how how how???
actually, i really feel that a job is dependent on the senior and how well can the senior manage the team and plan the work..
the things that a junior will be able to do is limited... the junior will do the part by doing the fieldwork well and communicating any issues to the senior...
so i think the role of a senior is very important....
will i be able to take up the task?

World's Most Unique 5 Strangely Coloured Beaches
i received this email from my friend... interesting leix....
Punalu'u Beach
Punalu'u Beach is the most visited of the few black sand beaches on Hawaii 's Big Island and the stunningly black sand is actually volcanic rock, deposited as lava and subsequently cooled when met by the ocean. Apparently to take any of the sand home would result in you being cursed by a volcano goddess by the name of Pele.
Papakolea Beach
One of only 2 green sand beaches in the world, the truly magnificent sight of Papakolea Beach can be experienced by travelling to Hawaii 's Ka'u district. Again, the unique colour of its sand can be attributed to volcanic activity - specifically, the green hue belongs to the abundance of olivine crystals which have been produced as a result of a nearby cinder cone erupting and eroding.
Hyams Beach
You may need to wear your shades when visiting Hyams Beach in New South Wales , Australia , but not just due to the sun. It's not surprising after looking at photos but this sublime stretch of beach is home to the whitest sand in the world, an honour awarded by the Guinness Book of Records.
Pfeiffer Beach
The hills surrounding Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur , California , are rich in Manganese Garnet. A result of this being washed down onto the beach is the colour scheme you can see above - the entire stretch of sand has become a shifting, pink and purple canvas. Although it's probably inedible, I can't help picturing a bowl of Raspberry Ripple ice-cream every time I see it.
Kaihalulu
You won't find many beaches elsewhere in the world with sand as red as this one. Kaihalulu, or Red Sand Beach , is situated on the island of Maui and can thank the neighbouring cindercone hill for its intensely deep red appearance.

New Song.
ha... im gg to repeat my old song this time....=p....
i played it after i watched moulin rouge....
at first when i put it in my play cos i was touched by the movie... felt that this song is nice...
however, this time round played it again because of its special meaning....
i used to wonder what does come wat may mean?
do u know???
i think if u know... u will think this is a very touching and sweet song...
come wat may -----------
Never knew I could feel like this
Like I've never seen the sky before
Want to vanish inside your kiss
Every day I love you more and more
Listen to my heart, can you hear it sings
Telling me to give you everything
Seasons may change, winter to spring
But I love you until the end of time
Come what may
Come what may
I will love you until my dying day
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
It all revolves around you
And there's no mountain too high
No river too wide
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side
Storm clouds may gather
And stars may collide
But I love you until the end of time
Oh, come what may, come what may
I will love you, I will love you
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place

seniors
there are some seniors whom i dun mind working OT for them....i dun mind coming in during weekends and working late for them...
but there are some seniors whom i dun even wan to waste my weekdays working late cos of them...
i had a senior whom i felt that working late for her is not worth it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i am super angry.. i am gg to vent in my blog.. for those who have my blog address, please read and forget abt it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
been working late these few weekends. wanted to go off 'early' this friday.. at abt 11pm... (FYI, 11 plus is considered early for me... my normal working hours is till 1am)
at abt 9 plus, my senior came back from her facial and my colleaque and i notify her on our intention...
then abt 10plus, she 'asked' us is it okie if we could fill up the accounts for her and clear all the queries and stuff later on...
i think it might be selfish of me to think that how come she dun wan to fill it in herself. it is her work and not ours. our duty is to perform field work and her duty is to fill in and check the FS.
it is just that it is really not being very fair.
she went for facial while we were working... and then she came in late while we came in early...
then she needs to work late and we have to work late with her as well!
i think whoever who are under her wont feel balance at all...
and guess what.. she sent us an email and notify her that she worked till 6 am in the morning editting 2 accounts and is it possible for us to help her edit and check the remaining the figures for 4 accounts when we come back during weekend. she just concentrate on editting the wordings for the remaining 4 accounts.
wth right..
actually if it were to be other seniors, i dun think i will mind. but it is just her...
and KPMG is not paying us our OT. what makes her feel that she has the right to ask us work late..
