The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

it is a nice movie...

about a guy who was borned old and then he gradually becomes younger.... and then in the end, when he died, he was a child....

when he was borned, his mother died giving birth to him. and his father got a shock when he saw him and he placed him outside someone's house..

lucky 'old' benjamin.. a lady is kind enough to adopt him as her child and took care of him...

day by day... he looked younger and younger.... and he died as a baby...

o course... he did have a wife (his 'childhood' playmate).. and eventually a child with her...

in the end, he left his wife... afraid that in the end his wife might have to look after two kids...

i'm wondering if i were his wife, will i be able to accept that my husband becomes younger as time goes by instead of aging with me...

bday celeb and dancing! =)

went for janey's bday celeb after my wheelock at Miss Clarity in bugis...

I must say that the restaurant is a must not try...

firstly, the service aren't good.. aunty merry passed the waiter janey's cake and asking him to help her put the cake into the fridge. but he just left the cake at the front door and serve other customers. we have to remind him before he put the cake into the fridge.

secondly, the food is not nice at all considering an average of $10 plus with service charges and GST.... we all tried their chef recommendation and none of them except for one is nice. kin commented that those that were tagged chef recommendations are those that are more pricey in the menu.. that restaurant really CMI manx. omg...

but anyway, we still have a good time over there, taking photos and chit-chating..

the cake is fantastic with the macrons... arigatou zhe yan!mmm.. nope.. i think must thank janey.. if not for her, we cant taste it also.. hah... but the cakes and macrons are from candele... really must try!~

after the dinner, the whole group of us went to support ah yuan for his dance competition.

thanks to ah yuan, we managed to get free tickets. but then we are suppose to hype up the crowd cos there is no free lunch in this world. even so, our dress code on that day arent hip hop at all! hah... wondering how are we gg to hype up the crowd.

anyway, it's a competition held along padang after chingay, on the street. so all of us are suppose to stand on the street and look at the not so tall stage.

for me who is not very tall have difficulty trying to see the dance. abit sian la actually.

dunno whether is it cos we all saw too many dance performance (all thanks to ah yuan.. we have been supporting him since secondary.. 忠实supporter! ), that i think actually alot of the dance looks the same actually. kin agreed with me too! i think right.. maybe what differentiate the dance is which dance can hype up the crowd and also which group is more syncronize and more complicate? ha.. i aslo dunno...maybe should check with him..

anyway, ah yuan got third.. congrats!

wheelock

there are five people in this year's wheelock team as compared to last year's six people..

mmm... but then seems like the working hours are the same i think..

we went off earlier during the weekdays at about 10 plus as compared to last year's 11 plus 12 plus...

but then we have to work on both days of weekend instead of last year's one day...

I prefer this year instead of last year's?

mmm... maybe cos one AM is there last year instead?

felt more enjoyable and less stressful this year as compared to last year...

i think team members really make a difference
