昆明 - 云南省 - 中国

okie.... we went to guangzhou after xiamen.. stayed there for 1 day and took a 25 hours sleeper train to kunming.....



the hostel we stayed in guangzhou.... 200RMB for 4 pax... relatively cheap right? yeah...

okie... out of the 25 hours, we are awake for about 10 hours??? hahah... out of which, we were eating... chatting... reading.... and occassionally falling aslp yet again.... omg... that train ride is only good at making ppl slp and slp....

okie.... finally after 25 hours of dunno torture or heaven, we finally reached kunming....

spent one day in 昆明 and we travel to 丽江 at nite.... just lotsa of travelling spent in buses and trains i think

anyway, that day in 昆明 was spent gg to the 云南民族村 which is a gathering of the 26 民族 in 云南 and also a miniture of the attractions of the states where the 民族 are.. i think a relatively interesting places.. but right... it can be a tourist trap too... just dun pay extra money other than the shows put up by the ppl...

i must say the culture of those 民族 is one of the attractions in 云南... all the cultures have their own festival and their beliefs.... i love 藏族most after visiting 香格里拉... cos i think their cultural is more 浓厚？or maybe cos i interacted with 藏族 more during this trip...

厦门 - 福建 - 中国

okie... as mentioned in the earlier post....

xiamen was my first stop.... it was not a wise choice to make this the first stop... or maybe even to stop at this place for this trip... however, since my mother told my 叔公 that we are gg there even way before we planned for this trip, we have to go ahx...

but luckily we went.... get to know more abt 叔公 and get to know more abt my grandma and grandpa when they were younger.....

厦门 is quite a nice place... not very fast pace with not a lot of ppl... a city that is not very developed

my 叔公 brought us to a few places... like 鼓浪屿 - a city of pianos a pity we didnt get to the top where u will get a see xiamen from there cos it was raining heavily... and we have to miss it....

i think the main purpose of this trip to xiamen was to visit my shugong rather than visiting the attractions over there.... therefore, i think i can say my objective was met cos we did have a good chat with him....

China trip

wa.... i think 1 entry is not enough for this whole china trip......

all in all.... i must say that the china trip is very interesting....

each backpacking trip only makes me love backpacking more and more and prefer backpacking as compared to following tours....

hahah...straight after i pulled out from artivision, i went to genting with my grandma and my aunt....

long overnight bus trip...

omg... my grandma went to the casino straight after we took our breakfast....okie... and she stayed there throughout the whole day... occasionally came out to have her meals.... then... stayed there the next day too!!! omg...

mmm... as for me and my aunt... we went to shop ard... occassionally went in to acc-ed my grandma and sat there and look at her gambling....

ohx ya... went to watch iron man too! (hee..sorry merry).... iron man really nice movie manx....
really worth watching...........mmm... merry if u wanna watch, i dun mind watching it again!

china china china.....

was discussing the itinery for china together with my sister....

mmm... the tentative plan is to

shanghai --> xiamen --> guangzhou --> guilin --> yunnan --> guangzhou --> hong kong --> singapore

that was their tentative plan for 3-4 weeks...

for me, i definitely wont join them for the whole of china tour....

but now im in a dilemma.... not sure how to depart, where to depart and when to depart from china...

i think there's an airline that depart from yunnan to singapore which is quite ideal for me... but then i think they will only reach xiamen on tues according to my prediction for them... so that left me with 12 days to travel from xiamen --> guangzhou --> guilin --> yunnan... 3 days each....mmm... possible????

mmm.. we shall see how ba...
